OUR MISSION

At Mass Bears and Cubs (MBC), our mission is to create an inclusive, supportive, and empowering community where individuals of all LGBTQ+ identities and expressions are celebrated. We are dedicated to fostering a space of mutual respect and connection, where everyone feels welcomed and valued.

As a fully volunteer-run 501(c)3 nonprofit, MBC strives to make a positive impact through social events, charitable initiatives, and community engagement. We embrace the diversity within the LGBTQ+ spectrum—whether you identify as a Bear, Cub, Otter, Chaser, or any other term, or perhaps none at all. Our community is a reflection of the beautiful spectrum of identities that exist within our world.

We are dedicated to supporting not just our members, but the larger LGBTQ+ community by fostering visibility, allyship, and advocacy. We create opportunities to connect, learn, and grow together, and we do so with the intention of building solidarity across generations, cultures, and experiences.

Through our events, fundraising efforts, and volunteer-driven programs, we strive to uplift and support marginalized voices and causes that promote equality, justice, and acceptance for all members of the LGBTQ+ community.
